Salsa Veracruz~Wicked Mild

From the Veracruz region of Mexico a combination of farm fresh ingredients, epazote (herb commonly fused in Latin cuisine), and a touch of lime. This is a saucy salsa meant to be poured over fish tacos, burritos, or huevos rancheros! We make this product using old fashion canning methods of placing jars in a boiling water bath to preserve it. This method of canning retains more of the nutrients in the veggies than mass-produced salsas that have had all the nutrients boiled out of them. This is as close to homemade canned fresh salsa as you can get without canning it yourself.
